Equipment rental software
In Termino, equipment is rented out on the same till that sells: the cashier picks the items and the period, and the price comes from the branch's daily rate. You can always see what is out, who has it and when it is due back, and on a late return the extra days are counted for you.
How a working day runs
What's included
Selling and renting on one till
Sell and Rent switch with one tap at the top of the till. Rental gear is tracked apart from the stock you sell.
Daily prices by branch
Each item has its own daily price and quantity in each branch. Every started 24 hours counts as one day.
Reservations
Book an item for a future date. Nothing is paid when booking: the renter pays at handover or on return.
Units available
The item tile shows how many units are free for the chosen period. If you pick more, the till warns you.
Overdue rentals
The Active rentals list shows which gear is late and by how much. On return, the extra days are charged at the same daily price.
Renter lookup by personal number
A Georgian personal number or a passport number is accepted. For someone who has rented before, the name fills in by itself.
Rental history
The back office lists every reservation and rental with its status, the gear that is out and the rental income for the period you choose.
Frequently asked questions
Can I sell and rent on the same till?
Yes. Sell and Rent switch with one tap at the top of the Termino till. Rental gear is tracked apart from the stock you sell, so renting does not change stock levels.
How is the rental price calculated?
Termino charges the branch's daily price for the number of days. Every started 24 hours counts as one day, so 32 hours is two days.
What happens if gear comes back late?
On return, Termino counts the extra days and charges them at the same daily price. The cashier can waive some or all of the extra days, and the waiver is recorded under their name.
Can I record a deposit?
Not at this stage. Termino records the renter's name, surname and personal or passport number on every rental, but deposits are not tracked.
How do I turn rentals on?
Termino switches rentals on for your company on request, on any plan. After that, you choose in the back office, when editing a branch, which branches rent out gear.
