POS software for a 24/7 roadside shop
A drive is a roadside or neighbourhood shop open 24/7: lots of short visits, night trade and cashiers handing the shift to each other. The Termino till sells with a barcode scanner, keeps selling when the internet drops, and at the end of a shift shows whether the cash in the drawer matches.
How a working day runs
What's included
Barcode scanner
Works with USB and Bluetooth scanners. If a barcode is unknown, the cashier is told straight away.
A shift per cashier
Each cashier has their own PIN, and at the end of a shift the till shows the difference between the counted and the expected cash. Every shift appears in a report.
Selling without internet
If the connection drops at night, the till keeps selling with every payment method and sends the sales by itself once the connection returns.
Stock
Every sale is taken off stock. The product list shows what is running low and what has run out.
Inventory counts
Count the whole shop, one category or chosen products. The system shows shortage and surplus in lari.
Receipt printing
The receipt prints on an 80 mm printer with your logo, address and phone number.

Frequently asked questions
Does Termino work at night if the internet drops?
Yes. Selling, receipt printing and the cash drawer keep working without internet, and the sales are sent to the system by themselves once the connection returns. Internet is needed to end a shift and for a cashier to sign in from the cashier list, so you close the shift after the connection is back.
How do cashiers hand a shift over to each other?
At the end of the shift the cashier counts the drawer and enters the counted amount. The till shows the difference from the expected amount and closes the shift, and the next cashier opens a new shift with their own PIN. That way a shortage always belongs to one shift and one cashier.
Can goods be sold by weight?
Quantities at the till are whole numbers, so selling by weight and connecting a scale are not available at this stage. Pre-packed goods sell as usual, by barcode.
What hardware does a drive need?
A Windows or macOS computer, a barcode scanner, an 80 mm receipt printer with a USB connection, and a cash drawer. For card payments you need your bank's terminal separately: the cashier runs the payment on the terminal and confirms it at the till.
